🧶 Carpet Moth Treatment Preparation
Carpet moth larvae cause damage to natural fibres including wool carpets, rugs, clothing and upholstery. Successful treatment relies heavily on preparation.
✔ Before We Arrive
• Thoroughly vacuum all carpeted areas, especially edges and under furniture
• Vacuum inside wardrobes and along skirting boards
• Dispose of vacuum contents immediately in an outdoor bin
• Move lightweight furniture away from walls where possible
• Remove items stored under beds
• Empty wardrobes of woollen items if heavy activity is present
• Launder or dry-clean affected clothing
⚠ Important
• We treat harbourage zones where larvae hide — not just visible moths
• You may still see adult moths after treatment (they are emerging from lifecycle stages)
• Follow-up treatment may be recommended depending on severity

🛏 Bed Bug Treatment Preparation
Bed bug treatments require strict preparation to ensure all harbourage areas are accessible.
✔ Before We Arrive
• Strip all bedding and place in sealed bags
• Wash linen, doonas, pillowcases and clothing in hot water (minimum 60°C)
• Dry on high heat
• Leave cleaned items sealed until after treatment
• Vacuum mattresses, bed frames and surrounding areas
• Empty bedside tables and drawers
• Move beds away from walls
• Reduce clutter in affected rooms
• Provide access to all rooms with activity
⚠ Important
• Do NOT move infested furniture to other rooms
• Do NOT dispose of beds without technician advice
• Some activity may continue for 7–14 days
• Follow-up visits are almost always required
