Our treatments are designed to protect guest comfort, online reviews, and compliance standards — while using low-toxicity solutions safe for families and sensitive environments.
To ensure the most effective and long-lasting results, please complete the following before our scheduled visit.
🔹 1. Guest Room Preparation
✔ Ensure rooms are vacant during scheduled treatment time ( or as many as possible, and keep a record of rooms available)
✔ Remove luggage, personal belongings, and loose items from floors
✔ Clear bedside areas and under-bed storage
✔ Move small furniture slightly away from walls (where practical)
✔ Ensure access to wardrobes and storage cupboards

Green Pesty treatments focus on harbourage zones where spiders, ants, cockroaches and bed bugs hide — not just visible areas.
🔹 2. Bedding & Linen
✔ Strip beds if treating for bed bugs or as requested
✔ Remove excess linen from floors
✔ Store clean linen in sealed cupboards or linen rooms
Note: We target breeding cycles and harbourage points — preparation ensures thorough treatment and better long-term protection.
🔹 3. Kitchenettes & Guest Facilities
✔ Remove or cover exposed food items
✔ Clear under-sink storage
✔ Empty bins prior to treatment
✔ Clean visible food debris from benches and appliances
This supports hygiene compliance and enhances treatment effectiveness.
🔹 4. Reception & Common Areas
✔ Clear skirting boards and window sills
✔ Ensure access to storage rooms
✔ Secure pets (if applicable in holiday parks)
✔ Provide access to external perimeter and bin areas
External treatments are critical in preventing pests from entering guest rooms.
🔹 5. External Areas
✔ Remove outdoor cushions where possible
✔ Move furniture slightly away from walls
✔ Ensure access to garden beds, pathways and lighting
Spiders and crawling insects are often controlled most effectively from the outside in.
🔹 6. During Treatment
• Guests & staff must not enter rooms during application
• Avoid contact with treated surfaces until dry
• Drying time is typically 45–90 minutes
• Rooms can be reoccupied once surfaces are dry
Green Pesty uses low-toxicity products suitable for family accommodation environments.
🔹 7. After Treatment
✔ Do not wipe treated skirting boards for at least 7 days ( the longer the better)
✔ Avoid washing external treated areas for 5–7 days
✔ Some pest activity may increase briefly as harbourage zones are disrupted — this is normal
Our approach targets nests and breeding cycles to prevent repeat issues and negative guest reviews. Washing down of treated areas will significantly reduce the effectiveness and longevity of the product.
